As spring starts to blossom, what better way to embrace the warmer weather than a run across the Sydney Harbour Bridge?

On Sunday 20 September, over 5,500 runners, joggers, walkers and strollers took part in the Medibank Family Fun Run. The friendly event was part of the Blackmores Sydney Running Festival, with the vibe of just getting out there and having a go.

Starting in grassy Bradfield Park, the scenic 3.5 km course took participants over the main deck of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, through to the Royal Botanic Gardens.

Families, couples, friends and individuals all embraced the festival atmosphere, with plenty of costumes, signs and colourful characters brightening up the crowds.

To celebrate, all participants were invited to feel like a hero on the Medibank podium. There were also Medibank prizes and giveaways on offer, plus remedial massages and spinal checks.

Congratulations to everyone who got involved!
