If your cover includes benefits for prescription pharmaceuticals, you can claim for them online using the information on this page. Follow the steps below to make and submit a Pharmacy claim online.
To claim you will require the My Medibank app on your phone, or access to My Medibank on the web. If you don't have a My Medibank account, register now in two easy steps.
You can also claim for pharmacy as an offline claim.
Before you start your Pharmacy claim, make sure that:
Note: you can't claim for medication provided in hospital, is used for cosmetic purposes, or that can be purchased without a prescription. Services provided more than 2 years ago also can't be claimed for.
The below services must be claimed offline:
- Compounded medications
- Oral contraceptives: benefits are only paid when prescribed for non-contraceptive purposes. Note: include verification from a medical practitioner dated in the past 12 months.
