How to claim for a Medical treatment or service

Log in to the My Medibank app.

On the home screen, tap Make a claim.

On the Make a claim screen, tap Medical.

Read the Before you start message and ensure you have your Medicare Statement of Benefit before proceeding. If you're a non-resident member, make sure you have an invoice or receipt.

Scroll down and tap Next. 

Read the One more thing message and scroll down and tap Start.

Select the name of the person who received the medical treatment or service and the date it was received.

(If you're on a single policy, there's no need to select your name.)

If you've already paid for this medical treatment or service, select Yes. Otherwise, select No.

Scroll down and tap Browse to upload.

Select option for uploading the Medicare Statement of Benefit, or an invoice or receipt if you're a non-resident member.

Tap Next.

On the pop-up message, confirm you have uploaded your Medicare Statement of Benefit by tapping Statement uploaded.

Scroll down and tap Submit to submit your claim.
