No out-of-pocket information available for a doctor?

Currently, out-of-pocket information is only available for doctors who have submitted 90% or more of all claims electronically to Medibank. Doctors who have submitted more than 10% of all claims manually to Medibank in the past 12 months will not have out-of-pocket information displayed.

* Members must have resident hospital cover that includes Joint reconstructions, Joint replacements, Hernia and appendix, Gastrointestinal endoscopy, Digestive system benefits as relevant to the procedure and all applicable waiting periods must have been served. There may be out-of-pocket expenses associated with outpatient appointments. An excess or per day payment may still be payable, depending on the product a member holds and whether they are claiming under their hospital cover for the first time in a calendar year. Excludes emergency admissions. The participating hospital and participating medical specialist will decide if the Medibank No Gap program is clinically appropriate for the member. If the member is referred to a non-participating hospital and/or one of the surgeons and/or anaesthetists who performs the procedure is not part of the Medibank No Gap program, any such procedure will not be part of the Medibank No Gap program and the member will incur out-of-pocket costs. The Medibank No Gap program is not offered in every State and Territory.
