Exploring your options

Before you begin your hospital journey, let's talk through the options available to you.

Are you starting your hospital journey?

Whether you’re exploring your options for surgery, or days away from a procedure, we've got some handy resources to help you prepare. And if you haven’t checked in with us yet, get in touch! The earlier you contact us, the more support and options we can provide.

1Check your cover

Call us on 132 331 or login to MyMedibank to check what treatments you have cover for. We can also help you understand your treatment choices, check costs, and provide support from the very beginning of your hospital journey all the way through to recovery.

2Speak to a specialist or GP

After you have checked in with us, speak to your GP or specialist. They’ll be able to advise you whether you need the surgery, what your surgical and non-surgical options are, what to expect before, during and after hospital, and what you need to do to stay healthy.
