Apple pie in a glass smoothie recipe

A fresh and invigorating way to get your pie fix – in a creamy smoothie packed with nutrients

Pie devotees: get your pie fix faster than you can preheat the oven. The boosters ramp up the nutrition without altering taste, and the cashews add a rich, buttery pastry flavour. Soak those nuts for a creamy shake reminiscent of that perfect bite à la mode.

    What to do

  • 1. Throw all of the ingredients (except the ice cubes) into your blender and blast on high for 30 to 60 seconds, until smooth and creamy.

  • 2. Add the ice cubes and blast for 10 to 20 seconds more, until well combined. Tweak flavours to taste (you may want to add more vanilla, cinnamon, or sweetener).
