Goji and coconut bliss balls recipe

Bliss out on the super-goodness of these delectable treats

Full of superfoods such as goji berries and raw cacao powder, these bliss balls provide a good dose of antioxidants and protein to keep your body healthy – with the perfect amount of natural sweetness to give you a little energy boost. They are a great healthy treat to curb those nasty 3 pm sugar cravings, for kids’ lunchboxes, or for a sweet treat while curled up on the couch on a cold winter’s night.

What to do

  • 1. In a food processor add all the ingredients except the goji berries and whizz until combined (the nuts should still be a little chunky).

  • 2. Add the goji berries and whizz until combined and the mixture is sticky, but still don’t let the nuts be ground up completely.

  • 3. Take small handfuls of the mixture and rolls into balls.

  • 4. Roll the balls in desiccated coconut and place in the freezer to set for 30 minutes.

  • These balls can then be stored in the freezer, fridge or pantry depending on how firm you like them.
