Sweet Potato Dip recipe

This colourful crowd-pleaser is the perfect afternoon snack.

Nothing beats using your own fresh produce or materials around the house.

What to do

    1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.

    2. Prepare all of the ingredients based on the instructions in the ingredients list.

    3. Line your baking trays with baking paper.

    4. Roast sweet potato for 20-30 minutes. Allow to cool.

    5. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan over a low heat and fry the onion until translucent.

    6. In another frying pan, dry-fry the spices over a low heat until aromatic.

    7. Put the sweet potato, onion, spices and lemon juice into the food processor.

    8. Puree until the sweet potato forms a soft paste.
