Most extras policies allow you to claim between 55-100% of the cost of the service back, provided it is included in your cover and up to your annual limit. You can check your remaining limits and submit a claim by logging into our Online Member Services (OMS).
The amount you pay to cover the difference between the service cost and the benefit paid by Medibank is commonly referred to as out of pocket, or gap. Generally speaking, the higher your level of cover, the higher your percentage back, and lower your out of pockets.

If your extras provider isn’t part of the Members’ Choice network don’t worry; as long as they’re a Medibank-recognised provider, you can still claim on these services.
