Medibank Live Better at Home
At Medibank, we know that caring for yourself helps you to care for those around you. That’s why we’ve created Live Better at Home. Delivered by a series of experts, we're encouraging all Australians to join our daily Eat, Move and Feel activities that will help us all stay active, stay healthy and Live Better at Home.
Medibank is the official health and wellbeing partner of global running (and walking) phenomenon parkrun. With a shared mission to create a healthier and happier community, parkrun organises free, weekly, 5km timed runs in nearly 400 locations around Australia every Saturday morning. Medibank’s partnership is designed to help parkrun continue to make regular physical exercise more accessible to as many Australians as possible by breaking down barriers to entry and to encourage regular participation.
Just as we eat well and stay fit to keep our bodies healthy, mindfulness and meditation can help us keep our mind healthy. Medibank is proud to be the Official Health Partner of Smiling Mind, supporting their goal of reaching five million young people by 2021. Our commitment will help Smiling Mind expand its valuable tools and resources, particularly focusing on families by supporting parents with mindfulness programs they can use with their children.
Medibank Feel Good Program
Refresh and recharge with the Medibank Feel Good program, a series of free outdoor exercise classes held at Brisbane’s South Bank Parklands and CBD during selected dates in autumn and spring each year. Whether you’re after gentle, flowing exercise to soothe your mind and body after a busy day, or something high-energy to really get your heart racing, there’s something for everyone.

Indigenous health & wellbeing
Every Australian has the right to good health and we are proud that Medibank was the first private health insurer in Australia to take a step towards greater reconciliation in 2012 when we developed our first Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
We know that the health inequality of our nation’s First Peoples affects, and is the responsibility of, all Australians. We believe the path to better health is through working in partnership with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, through a whole-of-community effort and by fostering national pride in the enduring value of our First Nations’ cultures. We remain committed to this path.
Medibank's Reconciliation Action Plan 2018-2020 outlines our commitment to the reconciliation effort in Australia, and the 16 practical actions we will undertake to support this.
