Sometimes plans change for reasons outside of your control
Medibank’s Comprehensive Travel Insurance plans provide cover for $Unlimited* cancellation and amendment costs when you need to make unforeseen changes to your travel.
If you buy your travel insurance early, you’ve got cover from the day you buy. This means that the earlier you arrange your travel insurance, the longer you'll be protected
What we include
Provided the situation was unforeseeable and outside of your control, cover is provided for:
- the non-refundable, unused portion of all prepaid travel costs
- the equivalent calculated cost for Frequent Flyer or similar flight reward points
What we DON’T include
We generally don't cover circumstances such as tour cancellations due to insufficient number, flight cancellations due to mechanical fault, overbooking, maintenance, repairs, rescheduling, service faults or the airline becoming insolvent.
