EasiYo labneh cheese recipe


Nothing beats using your own fresh produce or materials around the house.

What to do

  • 1. Combine EasiYo yogurt with garlic, lemon zest and salt. 

  • 2. Place a sieve over a bowl and line the inside with a generous piece of muslin or cheese cloth. Pour the yogurt mixture into the lined sieve and secure the cloth around to make a ball, twisting the top to extract the liquid (whey). Leave overnight or longer, squeezing and twisting occasionally. The longer it drains the firmer the cheese will be.

  • 3. Remove the muslin or kitchen dish cloth and garnish the labneh with olive oil and fresh thyme. Season with salt and pepper.

  • 4. Serve on bagels with smoked salmon, micro greens and capers.
