Trio of dips recipe

Herbed tahini, spinach and avocado, beetroot and chickpea – three colourful dips you can whip up in a flash.

You'll never buy packaged, processed, preservative filled supermarket dips again once you make these! They are quick and easy to whip up and when you are not dipping them, they also make a great sauce to accompany steamed veggies and top salads.

Ingredients

Herbed tahini dip

2 tablespoons tahini

1 garlic clove crushed

Juice of ½ a lemon

1 tablespoon sauerkraut

1 teaspoon cracked pepper

Herbal salt to taste 

Fresh dill and chives

Green avocado dip


2 tablespoons tahini

1 garlic clove crushed

Juice of ½ a lemon

½ avocado

1 bunch spinach


½ zucchini


Salt and cracked pepper
 to taste

Beetroot chickpea dip

½ cup chickpeas

Juice of ½ a lemon

1 small beetroot, peeled and boiled until soft 


½ garlic clove 


Salt and cracked pepper as desired

Method (for all dips) 

1. Add ingredients to a blender or food processor.

2. Blend until smooth.

3. Repeat for each flavor. 

5. Enjoy!
