Pre-trip vaccinations

Pre-trip vaccinations

Vaccinations for all destinations

Make sure you've had your standard vaccinations, including but not limited to such as tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B and polio. You should also consider an influenza vaccination if you're travelling during autumn or winter.

Country-specific vaccinations

Depending on your destination and purpose of travel, you may also require vaccinations including but not limited to Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Typhoid, Rabies, yellow fever, Japanese Encephalitis and Meningitis.

Highly recommended vaccinations

Depending on the country and region that you are travelling to, certain vaccinations may be recommended or required for admission into the country.

For full information on the appropriate vaccinations for your travel, make sure you see your doctor at least 6 weeks before your trip.

Traveller's medical kit

Wherever you travel, it's always a good idea to carry a first aid kit.

Speak to your doctor about your travel itinerary. They'll be able to recommend any medications worth including in your kit.

You should always check if your medications are allowed into your destination country, as well onto the plane.
