Step 1
Employees book their health check at a time that's convenient for them via an easy online booking portal.
Step 2
Our qualified health professional will perform the consultation in a private room, undertaking a holistic suite of tests to gauge one's general health.
Step 3
Each employee will receive a Medibank Health Check booklet with their results, health resources and recommendations to take home.
In addition to arming your team with tailored health knowledge, your workplace will receive a de-identified report outlining participation, referral statistics and a snapshot of chronic disease and lifestyle risk factors unique to your people.
What's involved in a 15-minute Medibank Health Check
All Health Checks are performed by Allied Health Professionals & Nurses. All Health Checks include general testing to gain a snapshot of the employees health including:
- Pre-screening questionnaire: Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep, Lifestyle & Stress
- Pin prick blood test: Glucose, Total cholesterol, HDL & Ratio
- Blood pressure check
- Waist to hip ratio measurements
- Cardiovascular disease risk assessment (CVD)
- Lifestyle counselling
- Information & resource pack with results
- GP referral as required
If you'd like to understand the mental health of your workforce, a 20-minute comprehensive health check is also available that include the above as well as K10 mental health screening & extended lifestyle counselling.
