Up to ten.

When does the 12-Week Mentoring Program commence? 

The Mentoring Program is expected to start in April 2024. 

Can I still apply for the 12-Week Mentoring Program if I’m not studying in a capital city?

Yes. The Medibank Mentoring Program is distance-based, so you’ll be able to participate from wherever you’re studying in Australia.

What can I expect from the 12-Week Mentoring Program?

The Mentoring Program is a 12-week experience connecting you with a Medibank mentor. Medibank mentors are senior Medibank professionals who will share their advice, skills and experience with you as the mentee.

Each mentoring experience is unique and will be based on individual mentee needs and mentor experience.  Throughout the 12-week experience, mentees and mentors will regularly connect via phone or online, with these conversations typically occurring on a fortnightly basis. 

Mentees will play a key role in driving the relationship, while being supported throughout the 12-week experience by their Medibank mentor and a Medibank mentoring information pack.

Is the 12-Week Mentoring Program paid?

No, the 12-Week Mentoring Program is not paid. The program will connect you with a Medibank mentor who will support your professional and personal development.

Do I need to be in Australia to participate in the 12-Week Mentoring Program?

Yes, the successful candidates will need to be in Australia for the duration of the 12-Week Mentoring Program, however you can still apply while outside of Australia, provided you’ll be in Australia for the start date of the 12-Week Mentoring Program and are a current, eligible Medibank Essentials OSHC member when you apply for and participate in the 12-Week Mentoring Program.
