When will applications open for the 6-month internship?

Applications for the internship are expected to open in May 2024. We’ll provide more information on the application process closer to this date. You can also check the Medibank Academy online hub for updates.

How many 6-month internship opportunities are available?

There will be one successful applicant for the 6-month paid part-time internship.

When does the 6-month internship begin?

The internship is expected to begin in early July 2024 and conclude at the end of December 2024. 

Where is the 6-month internship located?

The internship will be located at Medibank’s office in Melbourne, Victoria or Syndey, New South Wales. Accommodation and travel expenses are excluded. 

What will I do during the 6-month internship?

The successful candidate will be welcomed as a full team contributor and get real hands-on experience at one of Australia’s top listed companies.

How often will I work during the 6-month internship?

The 6-month internship is part-time. The successful candidate will work a maximum of 40 hours per fortnight. Working hours are flexible and can be scheduled around your studies. 

Will I be paid for the 6-month internship?

Yes, the 6-month internship is a paid internship.

Do I need to be in Australia to participate in the 6-month internship?

Yes, the successful candidate will need to be in Australia for the duration of the 6-month internship, however you can still apply while outside of Australia, provided you’ll be in Australia for the start date of the Medibank 6-month internship and are a current, eligible Medibank Essentials OSHC member when you apply for and participate in the 6-month internship.
