How it works
Earn points in Live Better rewards by completing a Challenge and/or your Weekly Goal, visiting a Members’ Choice Advantage provider, and more. Simply download the My Medibank app and register for Live Better rewards. Connect your eligible devices for automatic tracking.
What you can redeem
Points can be redeemed on rewards including discounts on premium payments and gift cards from our partners like the ICONIC, Apple, adidas and more.8
Making the most of your one dental check-up and clean
Your one annual dental check-up and clean can include up to three items: a dental examination, a topical application of fluoride (where clinically necessary), and a scale and clean. You can get the most value from your cover with one of the following options:
- Members’ Choice Advantage Provider: Get 100% back on all three items plus up to two bitewing x-rays when clinically required.9
- Members’ Choice Provider: Get 100% back on all three items. Bitewing x-rays not included.9
- Non-Members' Choice Network Provider: Fixed Amount per item, up to an annual limit of $100 per member. The fixed amount benefit is likely less than the cost of the service, which means there will be out-of-pocket expenses.9

Things you should know
1 Two month waiting period applies. Members' Choice and Members' Choice Advantage providers not available in all areas. Members can claim 100% back on one dental check-up per member per year, at either a Members' Choice provider (excluding x-rays) or at a Members' Choice Advantage provider (including up to two bitewing x-rays where clinically required).
2 1 day waiting period applies. For ambulance attendance or transportation to a hospital where immediate professional attention is required and your medical condition is such that you couldn't be transported any other way. Tasmania and Queensland have state schemes to cover ambulance services for residents of those states. Includes transport by air ambulance where pre-approval is obtained from Medibank by the air ambulance provider.
3 Two month waiting period and $40 annual limit apply. Benefits are payable towards the influenza vaccine only and not payable towards any other fees, including administrative fees or GP consultations. Some individuals may be eligible for free influenza vaccines under a Commonwealth or State scheme, such as the National Immunisation Program, or similar schemes. Benefits are not payable where influenza vaccines are administered under such a scheme.
4 25% gym discount with Fitness First and Good Life Health Clubs applies to new, full price 12 & 18 month Platinum memberships purchased by eligible Medibank members with hospital or extras cover. To obtain the discount, simply present your photo ID, Medibank Membership Card and the partner offer page within the My Medibank app when signing up at any participating gym. The name and email address used to sign up at the gym must exactly match the details attached to your Medibank account in order to earn Live Better points for attending the gym. By signing up to this offer you permit Fitness & Lifestyle Group to share your personal information (including name, date of birth, contact details, gym location and gym attendance records) with Medibank and Live Better. 7 Medibank Live Better Challenges & Goals Earning Policy: The participant of a Medibank Live Better Challenge or Goal may not receive Live Better points or may have their already credited Live Better points reversed in accordance with the Medibank Live Better terms and conditions. To earn Live Better points, the participant needs to properly complete 100% of the eligible Challenge according to the instructions. The number of Live Better points available for Medibank Live Better Challenges and Goals is subject to change without prior notice. The maximum number of Live Better points that each Medibank Live Better member can earn from successfully completing health and wellbeing Challenges, Goals or any Onboarding action in a calendar year is 40,000 Live Better points. To the extent of any inconsistency between this Policy and the Medibank Live Better terms and conditions, the terms and conditions will take precedence.
