New member

General: For new members who join eligible combined Hospital and Extras cover between 9 June 2026 and 27 August 2026 11:59pm AET. Must not have held Medibank health cover in the previous 60 days unless coming off parent’s cover as a dependant. Must quote promo code REFER and quote the unique referral code provided by the referring Medibank member when joining over the phone, instore, or online. Must have Australian residence. Must set up direct debit when joining. Excludes Extras only cover, Hospital only cover, Ambulance only cover, Overseas Visitors Cover (OVC), Overseas Students Health Cover (OSHC), Working Visa Health Insurance, ahm covers, and all Corporate covers. 12 Weeks Free: Must be up to date with premium payments and maintain your cover continuously for 42 days from cover start date to receive 6 weeks free, and for 15 consecutive months to receive a further 6 weeks free. The first 6 weeks free will be applied to your next bill after the 42 days. The further 6 weeks free will be applied to your next bill after the 15 months. The weeks free will not be issued if you change to an ineligible cover, suspend or terminate your cover during this period. Your total discount will reflect the level of eligible cover you have when the discount is applied to your bill. 

Waiting Periods Waived: 2&6 month waiting periods on extras are waived, but other waiting periods may still apply to your cover. Annual limits apply. If you're switching from a different health fund, anything that you have used on your current annual limits will count towards your annual limits with us. If you've reached your limits with your previous insurer, you may not be able to claim on extras straight away.

Live Better Rewards: To receive the Live Better Rewards points, you must be up to date with premium payments and maintain your cover continuously for 42 days without changing to an ineligible cover, suspending, or terminating your cover during this period.
Must register for a My Medibank account, sign up to Live Better Rewards in the My Medibank app, and track at least one Live Better activity during those 42 days. Must be 16 years or over to register for Live Better Rewards. Singles and Single Parents will receive 15,000 Live Better points. Families and Couples will receive Live Better 30,000 points. Points may take up to 10 weeks from your policy start date to appear in your account. These points may then be redeemed for rewards, such as a gift card. Medibank member

General: The offer ends on 27 August 2026 at 11:59 pm AET. The offer is available to main policyholders on Basic, Bronze, Silver, or Gold combined Hospital and Extras cover only. Spouses or dependants on a policy are not eligible. Eligible members will receive a unique referral code via email. Policyholders must use their own unique referral code to participate in the referral program. To be eligible to receive Live Better Rewards points, the policyholder/referring member must maintain their cover for 42 consecutive days from the referred member’s policy start date. The offer excludes members holding Extras only, Hospital only, Ambulance only cover, Overseas Visitors Cover (OVC), Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), Working Visa Health Insurance, ahm products, and all Corporate covers. Referring members will not be eligible to receive the Live Better Rewards points if they change to an ineligible cover, suspend, or terminate their cover within 42 days of the referred member’s policy start date. Must have Australian residence. Live Better Rewards Points: To receive the 10,000 Live Better Rewards points, the policyholder/referring member must:
- Be registered for a My Medibank account;
- Be signed up to Live Better Rewards via My Medibank and be 16 years or older; and
- Track an eligible activity before or within 42 days of the new member’s policy start date

Live Better Rewards points may take up to 10 weeks from the new member’s start date to be credited to the referring member’s account.
The referring member will receive 10,000 Live Better Rewards points for each successful referral.
A maximum of two referrals per member per calendar year will be rewarded. This is assessed based on the policy start dates of the referred members, not the date rewards are fulfilled.
The referring member must not transfer or share their 10,000 Live Better Rewards points with the referred member.

Validity of referral: A referral is valid if the referred member meets all of the following criteria:
- Join Basic, Bronze, Silver or Gold level combined Hospital and Extras cover between 9 June 2026 and 27 August 2026 11:59pm AET. 
- Maintain their cover for 42 consecutive days from the policy start date.
