We’ve partnered with some of the best health and wellbeing brands to help you on your way to better health. Here’s some information about redeeming a reward with Medibank Live Better.

Medibank members with hospital or extras cover can redeem Live Better Points on their Medibank health cover or with a Live Better Partner.

Once you’ve selected and confirmed your reward in the Rewards Store, you will receive an email confirming your redemption from Medibank Live Better. Depending on the reward you select, please see below for everything you need to know about the fulfilment of your reward.

A $200 premium payment towards your Medibank policy

25,000 Live Better Points

Things you need to know:

  1. You can redeem this reward to make a payment of $200 towards your Medibank policy if you’re a Medibank member with hospital cover, extras cover (excludes ambulance only cover) or hospital and extras cover, your premium payment is up-to-date, and you have signed up to Medibank Live Better with MyMedibank or have linked your MyMedibank account with your Live Better account.
  2. Once you choose this reward, the $200 payment will be applied to your policy.
  3. You can redeem this reward once in any consecutive 12-month period and it will be applied at a policy level.

A $100 or $200 Extras limit increase (excluding optical) on your Extras policy

$100 - 10,000 Live Better Points; $200 - 20,000 Live Better Points

Things you need to know:

  1. You can increase your extras limit on your included extras service, excluding optical, if you’re a Medibank member with extras cover (excludes ambulance only cover) or hospital and extras cover, your premium payment is up-to-date, and you have signed up to Medibank Live Better with MyMedibank or have linked your MyMedibank account with your Live Better account.
  2. Once you choose this reward, it will be automatically applied on extras services included in your cover (excluding optical), after current extras annual, sub or lifetime limits have been used but before any available Package Bonus/Membership Bonus (where applicable) is applied.
  3. This reward will be applied towards the first claim received by Medibank by any person insured under the policy.
  4. It can be used multiple times until the limit is reached and the benefit will be paid as per existing extras benefits on your cover.
  5. This reward will expire 12 months after the date of redemption (which may sit outside annual limit resets for your policy). Any unused portion of the reward will be forfeited.
  6. You can redeem each of the $100 and $200 extras limit increase rewards once in any consecutive 12 month period.

A remedial massage/myotherapy, physiotherapy or chiropractic/osteopathy service up to $115

10,000 Live Better Points

Things you need to know:

  1. You can choose this reward if you’re a Medibank member with extras cover (excludes ambulance only cover), or hospital and extras cover, your premium payment is up-to-date and you have signed up to Medibank Live Better with 'MyMedibank' or have linked your MyMedibank account with your Live Better account.
  2. It is for single use only. If the value of the service exceeds $115, then you need to pay the gap. If the cost of the service is below $115, the remaining amount will be forfeited.
  3. This reward will be automatically applied at a policy level, towards the first claim received by Medibank by any person insured under the policy.
  4. This reward will expire 12 months from the date of redemption (which may sit outside annual limit resets for the policy).

Reduce your Hospital Excess by $250

Things you need to know:

  1. We recommend you contact Medibank to check your excess before selecting this reward. If the excess payable is less than $250 or no excess is applicable to your policy, any/all unused amounts will be forfeited.
  2. You can choose this reward if you’re a Medibank member with hospital cover or hospital and extras cover, your premium payment is up-to-date, and you have signed up to Medibank Live Better with 'MyMedibank' or have linked your MyMedibank account with your Live Better account.
