Connect the health app that’s already on your phone – Apple Health or Google Fit – or a wearable device like an Apple Watch, Fitbit or Garmin. Once connected, your tracked activities will be automatically synced and you will start earning points when you complete the Weekly Goal or select Challenges.

Connecting a health app or wearable makes it easier for you to earn points, without having to do a thing! Plus, you'll earn 100 points for connecting a health app or wearable for the first time.
The Weekly Goal (where you can earn 200 points each week) and some Challenges require you to have a health app or wearable connected to be able to earn points.
How to connect
Connecting a health app or wearable is simple. Follow the below steps to get yourself set up.
Step 1
Open the My Medibank app and click on the Live Better icon.
Step 2
Navigate to the ‘Manage app/devices’ section.
Step 3
Click 'connect' next to the health apps and/or wearables you'd like to sync.

Connect one or more of the below health apps or wearables to ensure your activities are automatically synced to your Live Better rewards account.
If you don't own a wearable, you can connect a health app that already comes on your phone that tracks your steps by default along with other activities. You can also earn points by purchasing a wearable with one of our Live Better rewards partners.

How your data is used
Data from your connected health app or wearable is only used to track progress on the Weekly Goal and some Challenges. By law, the information collected by Live Better rewards will never affect your private health insurance premiums. Click here for more information.

The Weekly Goal
Step, exercise, stretch or meditate and you could earn 200 points every week. Complete 7 activities during the week, with a cap of 2 activities per day.^
Challenges
There’s a variety of activities to choose from to help you eat, move and feel better and range from 750 – 1,000 Live Better points.^

To earn Live Better points, the participant needs to properly complete the target number of activities per week of the eligible Goal according to the Goal instructions. The target number of activities may be subject to change, please refer to the Weekly Goal instructions in the My Medibank app. The number of Live Better points available for Medibank Live Better Challenges and Goals is subject to change without prior notice. The maximum number of Live Better points that each Medibank Live Better Member can earn from successfully completing Health and Wellbeing Challenges or Medibank Goals in a calendar year is 40,000 Live Better points. To the extent of any inconsistency between this Policy and the Medibank Live Better terms and conditions, the terms and conditions will take precedence.
~ Maximum 1,000 points per member per calendar year for Healthy Living Extras. Maximum 2,000 points per member per calendar year for all other extras. Award of Live Better rewards points is subject to the approval of a claim for the health service. Waiting periods may apply. Not available in all areas. Points will be credited to a members' account only when the member registers as a Live Better rewards member within 6 months from the date of the receiving the health service, subject to the Medibank Live Better rewards terms.
