# If you have extras cover
To make a claim:
- Register or login to Online Member Services
- Select 'Make a new extras claim'
- Follow the five simple steps to submit your claim
- Medibank will then make any payment directly into your bank account or send a cheque in the mail.

If you are an Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) or Visitors Cover member, General Practitioner (GP) claims can be made online. You will only need to have your treatment receipts/accounts.
To make a claim:
- Register or login to Online Member Services
- Select 'Make a new medical/doctor claim'
- Follow the five simple steps to submit your claim
- Medibank will then send any payment via a cheque in the mail.
Note: Australian residents should lodge their GP claims directly to Medicare.
The following claims can be made by mailing the accounts and/or receipts to Medibank with a completed claim form:
- Ambulance transport (medically necessary)
- Claims involving compensation or damages
- GapCover claims (surgeons, anaesthetists, assistants etc.)
- Health appliances
- Hospital accommodation
- Individual claims associated to more than one individual
- School accident
- Natural Therapies
To make one of these claims, simply download and print the appropriate claim form below.
Then mail your completed claim form with accounts/receipts to:
