Things you should know
*Offer commences 12.01am AEST 16 April 2024 and ends 11.59pm 10 June 2024 AEST (Offer Period). Offer provides eligible Medibank health insurance members with hospital cover, extras cover, or hospital and extras cover who sign up to a new Medibank Pet Protect, Pet Plus or Pet Max Pet Insurance policy during the Offer Period with 15,000 Live Better rewards points (Offer), subject to these terms and conditions. Offer is available to Medibank health insurance members who are eligible for Live Better rewards (see Live Better rewards terms). Must hold the same eligible Medibank Pet Insurance policy for 90 continuous days from the purchase date (Holding Period) and the policy must be active, not suspended or in arrears for Live Better rewards points to be awarded. Must be signed up to Medibank’s Live Better rewards program on or before the Holding Period (90 days) to be awarded the applicable Live Better rewards points. If a Live Better rewards account is not active by the end of the Holding Period, the points will be forfeited.
Offer only applies to new Medibank Pet Insurance policies purchased during the Offer Period, online, in-store, or by phone using the promo code LIVEBETTER. Must use promo code LIVEBETTER and enter their valid Medibank health insurance member number and email address at the time of taking out the policy during the Offer Period. Offer not valid for existing Medibank Pet Insurance Policies, or for those who have held a Medibank Pet Insurance Policy in the last 12 months. Points only awarded on the first pet insurance policy purchased during the Offer period, subsequent policies purchased will not be eligible for the Offer. Must own an eligible cat or dog and provide evidence if requested to the Insurer (PetSure (Australia) Pty Ltd).
Medibank health members can receive the Offer in addition to the 10% standard Medibank health member discount on the first year’s premium only.
Not available with any other offer except for:
- the existing Medibank health members standard discount, if applicable;
- the 5% multi-pet discount for additional pets.

Please allow an additional 28 business days after the 90-day Holding Period for Live Better Points to be awarded.
