Medibank to reopen its Melbourne stores on Friday

Medibank will reopen its Melbourne stores on Friday 11 June following the Victorian Government’s announcement of the easing of COVID-19 restrictions.

Regional Victorian stores welcomed customers back last Friday with strict health and safety standards in place to protect our people and customers.

Head of Retail Andrew Carlson said our teams are excited to have customers back in our Melbourne stores.

“We know it’s been a challenging time for Victorians, but with the easing of restrictions we’re pleased to be able to once again speak to our customers face-to-face,” Mr Carlson said.

“Strict health and safety standards will be in place at all Victorian stores. Customers will be required to check-in with a QR code, wear a mask while in the store and there will be limits to the number of people in stores at any one time.

“We thank our customers for their patience as we take these necessary steps to protect our people and all those who visit our store."

All retail stores will continue be cleaned daily. Perspex sneeze guards will remain in place at desks. Touchless hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance to the stores.

Customers can visit our website or My Medibank app to check their local store opening hours.

Customer can also access support by calling 132 331, 24/7 webchat or My Medibank app.
