Medibank is reopening its Melbourne retail stores from today with strict health and safety standards in place to protect our people and customers.
Following the Victorian Government’s decision to further ease COVID-19 restrictions, all Medibank retail stores Australia-wide are now open for business.
Medibank Chief Customer Officer David Koczkar said our people are excited to be back speaking to our customers face-to-face.
“Despite the challenging year, I am so proud of how our people have adapted and transitioned quickly into working remotely while still providing the best customer service,” Mr Koczkar said.
“But now that restrictions have eased, it’s time to reopen and I know our people are excited to welcome our customers back in-store and have face-to-face conversations.”
“Our retail staff will continue to be there to support both our customers in-store and those who have valued the flexibility of speaking to us via messaging or phone. But we know your time is valuable so we will ensure we help you as quickly as possible.”
Strict hygiene standards will remain in place as part of measures to protect the health of our people and all who visit our store.
All retail stores will continue be cleaned daily. Perspex sneeze guards will remain in place at all desks. Touchless hand sanitiser will be available at the entrance to the stores and limits to the number of people in stores at any one time will be in place.
