The majority of Western Australian stores to temporarily close due to new COVID-19 restrictions

Following a 4-day lockdown announced by the West Australian Government last night, Medibank will close all it’s stores across the Perth and Peel regions. The retail store in Bunbury will remain open.

The circuit-breaker lockdown will mean the stores will remain shut until at least Friday, in line with Government restrictions.

Head of Retail Andrew Carlson said team members will continue to support customers via our phone and digital channels.

“It’s very disappointing for everyone, that COVID-19 cases are increasing in some parts of Australia,” he said.

“But we all need to do our part to stop the spread across the Perth and Peel regions and protect the health and safety of everyone in the local community.

“All team members will work from home during the lockdown period, supporting our customers across phone and digital channels.

“We thank our customers for their patience while we all do our bit to keep the community safe.”

Customers needing support can find a range of resources at medibank.com.au, in their My Medibank app, or access agent support through web messaging or by calling 132 331.
