In response to new COVID-19 restrictions introduced late today by the South Australian Government, Medibank has temporarily closed 4 retail stores.

They will remain shut until further notice after the government ordered the closure of all non-essential retail stores.

Head of Retail Andrew Carlson said it’s important Medibank does its part to prevent any further spread of the virus.

“Our top priority at this time is the health and wellbeing of our people, customers and the wider community,” he said.

“The COVID-19 pandemic is an ever changing and dynamic environment that we continue to respond to quickly.

“We encourage our customers to keep reaching out when they need us, with our retail teams able to support them through phone and digital channels during this period.”

While South Australian retail stores will be closed for the time being, customers needing support can find a range of resources at medibank.com.au, in their My Medibank app, or by calling 132 331.
