Let’s be honest, my weight struggle is probably no different to many other Australians. There were times when getting up for work and leaving the house was a battle. I was embarrassed about my size and thought everyone was staring at me. It had a huge impact on my life and overall health and wellbeing.
I had tried everything from diets to hypnosis, but nothing seemed to work for me. I would lose weight and then put the weight I had lost plus some straight back on which made me struggle more with mental health.
The turning point came when I made the decision to undergo weight loss surgery after more than 3 years of research. I lost 30 kilograms and since then have transformed my life.

The things that worked for me through my journey:
