Jay Weatherill to retire as Medibank Board director

Medibank has announced that non-executive director The Hon Jay Weatherill AO will be retiring from the Medibank Board, effective 31 December 2025, following his recent appointment as the Australian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.

Mr Weatherill was appointed a director in March 2024 and has served as a member of the Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee.

Medibank Chair Mike Wilkins said: “On behalf of the Medibank Board, we extend our warm congratulations to Jay on his new appointment.

“We thank Jay for his valued contribution to the Medibank Board. His deep expertise in public policy and reform has brought meaningful insight and impact to our work.
