Medibank donates dollar 100,000 to pakistan flood relief

Medibank, Australia's leading provider of health insurance and health solutions, is donating $100,000 to help survivors of the devastating floods in Pakistan.

According to Medibank Managing Director George Savvides, the scale of the disaster, which has killed or displaced 20 million Pakistanis, requires action from the international community.

"As we watch the news unfold and the impact of the flood becomes clear, it's hard to imagine a way forward. One way the international community can help is to make donations to relief funds set up by world aid organisations.

"In support of this, the Medibank Board has approved a $100,000 Medibank donation to
The Australian Red Cross Pakistan Monsoon Floods Appeal and we have extended the Medibank Gift Matching Program to all eligible employees across Medibank; matching their pledges to the appeal dollar for dollar," Mr Savvides said.
