The Full Federal Court has today refused Medibank’s application for leave to appeal from the Federal Court decision on 7 March 2025, which found that three reports prepared by Deloitte concerning the 2022 cybercrime event were not subject to legal professional privilege.
The Court has ordered Medibank to produce the reports to the Applicants in the consumer class action under an agreed confidentiality regime.
