The Great Ocean Road Marathon

Run from Lorne to Apollo Bay in one of Australia’s most visually spectacular marathons.

This year is the 10th anniversary of the Great Ocean Road Marathon, held across Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 May. With panoramic views over the Southern Ocean, the event course gives participants have the unique opportunity to take on a physical fitness challenge in an iconic seaside location.

Whether you’re a seasoned marathon runner or you’re just starting out with running, there’s an event for everyone. Beginners can take on the 6 km challenge, while intermediate runners might try the 14 km, or even the half marathon. There is also a special 14 km event for wheelchair users, as well as a fun children’s event, the 1.5 km Kids’ Gallop.
