Support for sleeping on your side

The Side Sleeper Pro pillow encourages natural alignment of your neck and back while you snooze.

Struggling to get a good night’s sleep? Studies by the Spine Research Institute in California have suggested that sleeping on your side is one of the most effective ways to give your whole body restorative rest overnight. Sleeping on your side supports the spine and neck, making you significantly less likely to wake up in the middle of the night bothered by neck, shoulder, or arm pain.

the side sleeper pro pillow provides support to align your neck and back when sleeping on your side

The Side Sleeper Pro is a therapeutic pillow specially designed to align your neck and back in a natural way to encourage good posture while you lie on your side. By doing so, the comfortable and hypoallergenic pillow helps reduce spinal twisting, neck pain and back pain. It also helps to open up the airways overnight – which means reduced snoring.

The pillow was designed by chiropractic physician Dr. Larry Cole from the Spine Research Institute. “Side sleeping is one of the only positions that can entirely aid the body in overnight rejuvenation,” he says. “Sleeping on your back provides limited support to the curve in your spine and stomach sleepers are putting strain on their back, neck and jaw.”

The Side Sleeper Pro pillow is available at Target or Big W. Find out about the work of the Spine Research Institute here.
