For many of us, breakfast is not on the top of our priority list. When we’re rushing around in the mornings, it’s too easy to miss out on a nutritious breakfast meal. And that means missing the opportunity to be more alert, have sharper concentration levels and to function more effectively throughout the day.

To remedy this, here are some easy and delicious breakfast ideas to start your day out right.

1. Homemade Bircher muesli

Bircher muesli is easy to prepare and can be made in advance and stored in a container in the fridge – breakfast sorted for the rest of the week! Muesli consists of wholegrains, which provide us with plenty of protein and fibre. You can serve it with milk, yoghurt and/or fruit such as berries, apple or banana.
