How to build a home gym for free

There are plenty of ways that you can stay fit and healthy from the convenience of your own home,
and without breaking the bank.

Join Live Better Ambassador, Steph Prem as she demonstrates how she sets up her own home gym using the common items she has lying around her house.

Equipment you’ll need to follow Steph’s at-home workout 

  • A chair
  • 2 x towels
  • A stopwatch/timer on your phone 
  • 2 x canned vegetables of your choice 

Steph’s at-home workout

Set your timer for 50 seconds and do as many reps as possible within each set, taking a 10 second break in-between.

  1. Seated squats x 2 sets
  2. Glute kickbacks x 4 sets 
  3. Lunges x 4 sets 
  4. Mountain climber x 2 sets
  5. Chest fly x 2 sets 
  6. Shoulder press x 2 sets 
  7. Squat jumps  
  8. Stretch to finish

Try incorporating bodyweight exercises such as push ups, sit ups, squats and lunges which require minimal space and deliver super results.
