20th July, 1:30pm

Continuing efforts mean that most members’ 2016 tax statements have been issued. However, a small proportion of members will be affected by a delay in receiving their statement. We are doing everything we can to process the remaining tax statements as soon as possible, and at this stage we expect that affected members’ tax statements should be issued by July 31.

Members who are affected by the delay have been sent a notification via SMS or email, and letters are now being processed for those who have mail as their contact preference. Please note letters will take longer to arrive via post. You can also check if you are affected by entering your details into the tool below.

We again apologise for this delay, and will continue to provide updates on this page.

To see if you are affected by this delay simply enter your Membership Number and Surname below.

Information provided by the above checking tool was updated at 1.30pm on July 20.

Please ensure your Membership Number and Surname are correct, as incorrect information may result in an inaccurate response. Please note, some members may not be eligible to receive a tax statement from Medibank.

During the implementation of a major technology upgrade, we identified a reporting issue that was likely to prevent us from providing some of our members with their 2016 tax statement by July 15. Efforts over the last week means that most of our members will not be affected by a delay in their tax statement being issued.
