5 sweet Valentine’s Day treats

Whip up a delectable low-sugar dessert this Valentine's Day to show just how sweet you are.

1. Raw chocolate and orange mousse

This rich, creamy mousse by Superfoods author Rena Patten has a refreshing citrus twist  and it’s made from all natural ingredients like raw cacao powder, coconut water, avocado, honey, vanilla and orange zest. Delicious.

2. Grilled peaches with vanilla ricotta

Here’s how you turn the last of the season’s peaches into an impressively tasty dessert: grilled with maple syrup and served with sweet vanilla ricotta. It’s incredibly quick and easy to make – and it comes from glowing natural beauty Rachael Finch, so you know it’s as wholesome as it is scrumptious.

3. Coco-cacao truffles

Roll up some delicious, chocolatey truffles for a delightful treat  perfect for a lazy night in front of a classic movie. With nothing but natural ingredients like coconut, puffed rice, rolled oats, cacao nibs and a variety of seeds, these bite-sized balls are full of goodness.

4. Strawberry parfaits with pomegranate and pistachio

A juicy burst of pomegranate makes these sweet vegan parfaits by Suzy Spoon a real treat, and the sprinkling of pistachio adds a nutty twist. The secret hidden ingredient? Tofu. But don’t let that scare you off  trust us, no one will ever know.

5. Mini chocolate cakes

Naturally sweet and full of the creamy flavours of vanilla, coconut and almond, these little cakes by model Natascha Elisa are the perfect mini treat.

Whip up a delectable low-sugar dessert this Valentine’s Day and show your loved one just how sweet you are.
