Medibank Nurse 24/7

You don't have to be sick to need good health advice.

As a Medibank member with hospital cover you can call a Medibank nurse with any health question you or your family may have, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Our nurses complement the care given by your GP and other health professionals so you can trust they'll deliver sound advice, and answer most questions you have, like:

  • helping you to understand treatment advice, upcoming procedures, mental health issues or if you have post surgery queries
  • talking to you about treatment options
  • helping you find other health services in your area such as dentists or mental health services
  • explaining health conditions, like heart disease, diabetes or arthritis
  • providing pregnancy support, including dietary advice and exercise programmes
  • assisting with starting your weight loss regime, managing your nutritional plans or helping you deal with stress or anxiety

If our nurses think you should be seen by your GP, they can use their clinical knowledge to call your preferred GP clinic, explain your condition and help get you an appointment to see your GP quickly.
