Goji and coconut bliss balls recipe

Bliss out on the super-goodness of these delectable treats

Written by Jemma Gray

Full of superfoods such as goji berries and raw cacao powder, these bliss balls provide a good dose of antioxidants and protein to keep your body healthy – with the perfect amount of natural sweetness to give you a little energy boost. They are a great healthy treat to curb those nasty 3 pm sugar cravings, for kids’ lunchboxes, or for a sweet treat while curled up on the couch on a cold winter’s night.

Ingredients

Nothing beats using your own fresh produce or materials around the house.

What to do

    1. In a food processor add all the ingredients except the goji berries and whizz until combined (the nuts should still be a little chunky).

    2. Add the goji berries and whizz until combined and the mixture is sticky, but still don’t let the nuts be ground up completely.

    3. Take small handfuls of the mixture and rolls into balls.

    4. Roll the balls in desiccated coconut and place in the freezer to set for 30 minutes.

    5. These balls can then be stored in the freezer, fridge or pantry depending on how firm you like them.
