Public Hospital

If you choose to be treated in a public hospital as a private patient, we cover the cost of (less any applicable Excess):

overnight accommodation in a shared or private room
shared room only for Same Day Admissions.

Excess

An Excess is an amount that you agree to pay if admitted to hospital in exchange for lower premiums.

The Excess options are:

	Singles	Couples, Families and Single Parent Families
Level 1	$150	$300
Level 2	$250	$500
