• The launch of Medibank Health Solutions in 2010 marked Medibank's transformation into a leading provider of telephone and web-based health care services in Australia and New Zealand. As the service provider of the Australian Government's after hours GP helpline and health advice and triage lines such as healthdirect Australia, NURSE-ON-CALL, and Healthline, we assist people to access quality health advice and information, no matter where they live, at a time that is convenient for them.

  Medibank Health Solutions is responsible for all on- and off-base healthcare services for the Australian Defence Force, from point of injury or illness through to recovery. Our services include connecting ADF personnel with on- and off-base health professionals, radiology, pathology and optometry services and the provision of a world class telehealth service delivering triage, health advice and referral services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

• As a leading provider of workplace health services to industries ranging from manufacturing in Hobart to mining in Karratha, Medibank Health Solutions helps keep Australia working. Our network of 43 clinics provides specialist clinical services including workplace injury management and allied health services to corporate and government clients.
  We are also the sole service provider contracted by the Australian Government to undertake visa health assessments, conducting 230,000 examinations in 2010-11, including screening for conditions such as tuberculosis and HIV.
